Tornado Relief Grants Now Available

Just as many grassroots efforts have mobilized across the state to assist Arkansans

immediately decided to reallocate grant funds for emergency aid. The funding will

lighten the financial load of organizations at the forefront of rebuilding their communities. Who can apply?

Nonprofit, government and educational organizations agencies that address immediate disaster relief needs are eligible to apply. The organization must be located in Arkansas and serve Arkansans. Nonprofit organizations must have an active 501(c)(3) IRS status.

Priority consideration will be given to those providing

  • emergency dental care,

  • oral hygiene supplies,

  • shelter resources,

  • solutions to food insecurity, and

  • disaster clean-up support.

Funding is limited and will be provided based on availability.

Applications will be processed within 5 business days. Applicants will first be notified when their application is received, followed by a final communication when a decision has been made on the funding request. A follow-up report detailing how many were served through this funding will be required for all approved requests.
